What data we receive
We may receive your name, email, password, or the technical data of a social sign-in when you create an account or sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple.
If you use traveller or partner features, we may also store your phone number, selected city, profile preferences, privacy settings, and the information you add to your profile, reviews, photos, or business pages yourself.

How we use this data
We need the data for authentication, running your public profile, showing personalized content, moderating reviews, and managing the business dashboard.
If you create a page for a restaurant, accommodation, or tour, WanderPoi UA uses your data to keep drafts, submit the listing for moderation, and support your further work with the platform.

Social sign-in, Google, reCAPTCHA, and Telegram
If you sign in with Google, Facebook, or Apple, we receive the minimum data required from the provider to identify you and sign you in.
We may use reCAPTCHA to protect public forms from abuse. Google services power maps, geocoding, and some imports. Certain bookings and communication may also run through Telegram if you use the platform's Telegram channels.

Cookies, geolocation, and analytics
WanderPoi UA uses cookies and similar technical mechanisms to remember your selected city, coordinates, recently viewed pages, and a technical guest identifier.
We also keep internal event and metric counters — for example booking creation or content interaction — to understand load and service quality.
- The selected city and coordinates are stored separately and used for local search context.
- Recently viewed places help you return to interesting pages faster.

Reviews, photos, newsletters, and bookings
If you publish reviews, photos, or owner replies, this information may become publicly visible depending on your account settings, moderation status, and platform rules.
If you subscribe to the newsletter, we store your email for informational messages. If you send a tour request or a contact form, we store the data needed to reply and follow up on your request.
- The visibility of some data depends on the material's status and your settings.

Data retention and your options
We keep data for as long as it is needed to run the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain technical logs, and confirm user actions.
If you start an account deletion, some public data is hidden immediately and the final deletion happens after a defined waiting period. Certain bookings, legally significant records, or security logs may be kept longer where necessary.
